Key Responsibilities:
This includes tasks like loading and unloading materials, feeding materials into machines, and assisting with machine setup according to specifications.
Monitoring machine output, inspecting products for defects, and ensuring they meet quality standards.
Moving materials and products around the work area, using equipment like forklifts or hand trucks.
Helping with basic machine maintenance tasks like cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
Assisting the machine operator in identifying and resolving issues with the machinery.
Adhering to all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
Recording production data, machine malfunctions, and maintenance activities.
- Teamwork and Communication:
Collaborating with other team members, communicating effectively with supervisors, and participating in training and continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Mechanical aptitude: Understanding basic mechanical concepts and the ability to troubleshoot basic machinery issues.
- Attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks.
- Physical stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift materials.
- Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- Teamwork and communication skills: Ability to work effectively with others and communicate clearly.
- Safety awareness: Understanding and adhering to safety protocols.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bending, reaching, stretching, kneeling, and stooping.
- Lifting, Pulling, Pushing and Carrying up to 40lbs.
- Standing for up to 8 hours at a time.
