Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious behavior. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while representing Allied Universal at the location. Document and report security-related incidents, maintenance issues, and any other concerns according to site procedures. Support access control procedures and verify identification as required by site policies. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Security Officer
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Finance Sector in Getzville, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols throughout a financial institution location. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment for staff and visitors. You will also provide outstanding customer service, clear communication, and support to everyone on site. - Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
