Client is modernizing its enterprise technology foundation, and we're seeking an IT Infrastructure Director to lead that transformation. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on execution—driving network redesign, cloud migration, cybersecurity hardening, and infrastructure modernization across a nationwide real estate portfolio. What You'll Do
Infrastructure and Cloud Modernization
- Lead enterprise-wide modernization of infrastructure : network architecture, Wi-Fi, data center, and cloud environments – Knowledge of both on site and cloud are equally important
- Direct and manage cloud migration initiatives—assessing, planning, and executing hybrid and full-cloud transitions for core systems
- Oversee circuit redesign (SD-WAN, MPLS exit), data center consolidation, and modernization of backup / recovery solutions
- Maintain reliability, scalability, and business continuity standards across all facilities
Cybersecurity & Compliance
Own enterprise security remediation and infrastructure hardening programs.Implement advanced security solutions (Arctic Wolf, Palo Alto, Darktrace, etc.) for threat detection, response, and monitoring.Ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards through proactive risk management and patch governance.Project Delivery & Vendor Leadership
Oversee the full lifecycle of infrastructure and cloud projects—from design through execution.Manage external vendors and service providers; lead RFPs, contract negotiations, and ongoing vendor performance.Ensure all modernization and migration projects are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with business priorities.Operations & Reliability
Maintain high availability (target 99.9%+ uptime) and robust monitoring across network and cloud platforms.Serve as senior escalation point for critical incidents, outages, and recovery efforts.Align system maintenance and patching with operational and security goals.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Legal, Finance, and Real Estate on technology integration for property transitions, decommissions, and new developments.Ensure seamless communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.Team Development & Training
Cultivate a high-performance culture through coaching, mentoring, and technical training.Oversee upskilling in areas such as cybersecurity, cloud platforms, and modern network tools.What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master's degree a plus)10+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, network engineering, and systems administrationStrong technical leadership in :Network architecture & modernization (LAN / WAN, Wi-Fi 6, SD-WAN, firewalls)Cloud platforms & migration (TBD).Security technologies (Darktrace, Palo Alto, Arctic Wolf, etc.).Virtualization & disaster recovery (VMware, Zerto, backup systems)Proven success managing enterprise-scale modernization projects and vendor partnerships.Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.Preferred Certifications : CCNP, CISSP, ITIL, Azure or AWS Solutions Architect.
