Position Summary

The Building Automations Systems Controls Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, Configuring, and programming Software and Hardware for DDC Building Automation Systems. Southland Industries is a signatory contractor of local union 250. Experienced BAS Field Programmer / Controls Engineer with expertise in Building Automation Systems to create Controls Programs and Systems Databases. This role involves working with our clients on creating a database of control programs and systems, programming, and installing the Control Systems for the clients’ buildings. The BAS Field Programmer will facilitate documentation of systems’ compliance with design. Strong leadership, effective communication, and a focus on client satisfaction are key to success. If you excel at BAS drawings, reviewing documentation, and complex challenges, this role is perfect for you.

Pay :   Final pay is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. For California, this ranges from $28.00-$65.00 indicating dependent on level. Assigned Company Vehicle, Tools, Laptop & Cell Phone.
