Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Med Surg Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 16 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type : Travel MUST READ ✅ Shift : 19 : 00–07 : 00 Description : Med / Surg Nurses provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on scientific nursing principles. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) : Consults and coordinates with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans Prepares and administers medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV) and documents per policy Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments Educates patients on surgical procedures and post-treatment care Records patients’ medical information and vital signs Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment, interprets and records data Initiates corrective actions for adverse symptoms Provides bedside care for medical, pre-op, and post-op patients Implements patient education plans as prescribed by physicians Changes dressings, inserts catheters, starts IVs Prepares equipment and assists physicians during examinations and treatments Responds to life-saving situations per nursing standards and protocol Participates in discharge planning Utilizes time management skills Records all care information accurately and timely Performs other duties as assigned depending on setting Note : This is a rapid placement; the candidate must be able to start within 2 weeks of offer.
