Responsibilities

The Inventory Control Specialist - Offsite is responsible for efficient, timely and accurate inventory control of various supplies and equipment to support the remote locations within Community Health System. The specialist receives, stocks and distributes supplies and materials to proper stock locations in a timely manner. Acts as liaison between buyers and off-site location key stakeholders to troubleshoot open purchase orders, EDI transmissions, invoice issues and product back orders. In collaboration with the supervisor, prepares information for supply chain optimization, inventory management, recommending adjustments to stocking levels, pars and turns. Works as direct liaison with physicians and stakeholders in communicating information in a clear, concise and professional manner. Develops effective relationships and maintains exceptional customer service to support remote key stakeholders.

Qualifications

Education High School Diploma, General Education Development (GED) or Completion of a CMC Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required

Experience 2 years of inventory experience required

Licenses and Certifications DL - Valid California Driver's License and driving record acceptable to Community Medical Centers required
