Description

Rinker Design Associates, LLC (RDA) is seeking a skilled and motivated Highway Engineer with 4-7 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Manassas, Fredericksburg, Richmond, Waynesboro or Virginia Beach.

This role will focus on the design, development and maintenance of transportation infrastructure within Virginia, ensuring the projects meet VDOT's standards for quality, safety and efficiency.

This position is eligible for a sign-on-bonus up to $5K!

Responsibilities

• Design and develop transportation infrastructure, including roads highways bridges , and traffic management systems
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including planners engineers contractors , and local agencies
• Assist in project management tasks, including cost estimation scheduling , and resource allocation
• Prepare detailed engineering reports, designs, and drawings according to VDOT standards and guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with federal state , and local regulations related to transportation engineering.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
