End Date : March 2, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 3x12-hour nights (7 : 00pm – 7 : 00am), holiday rotation included

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1570-$1680

Patient Ratio : 1 : 2

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Floating : Required within scope and to similar units

Charting System : Epic

Scrub Color : Royal Blue

Parking : Free on-site parking

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active South Carolina RN license or Compact nursing license (required for South Carolina nursing jobs)

Minimum 1 year of recent CVICU RN experience (2 years preferred)

Previous travel nursing experience required

Cardiac and neurocritical care experience required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Experience with Epic charting system preferred

Ability to float to similar units as needed

Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions accepted)

Not accepting local travelers (must reside outside 60-mile radius)

First-time travel nurses not accepted

CVICU RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the CVICU

Monitor and manage patients with complex cardiac and neuro conditions

Administer emergency medications and titrate cardiac / vasoactive drips

Care for patients on ECMO, ventilators, and advanced cardiac devices (IABP, Impella, Swan Ganz, CRRT)

Assist with procedures such as chest tube insertion / removal, arterial line management, and post-cardiac surgery care

Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and dysrhythmias

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy and phlebotomy

Float to similar units as needed to support hospital staffing

Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic

Participate in holiday and weekend rotations as scheduled
