Same Day Surgery Center of Central Jersey has an immediate need for a per diem Sterile Processing Tech! At Same Day Surgery Center of Central Jersey, we believe health and care are inseparable. Job Summary : The Sterile Processing Technician cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation and sets up supplies and instruments for surgery cases.

Pay Range : $25.00-$34.00 / hr (Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.)

Required Skills :

• High School diploma or GED required
• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification Program.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred
• 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knows operating room instrumentation.
• Understands operation of steam / gravity sterilizer.
• Understands Sterrad sterilizers.
• Ability to prepare reports and keep records.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is required.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed.
• Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians.
