SCADA Integration Engineer

Focus :
Design, develop, and deploy SCADA systems for critical environments using the Ignition platform (Vision and Perspective)Build UDTs, dynamic screens, alarming strategies, and real-time dashboards to support control and visibility at scaleWrite Python and SQL-based logic, manage transaction groups, and implement redundant gateways and store-forward configurationsIntegrate and validate communications with BACnet / IP, Modbus TCP, OPC UA, MQTT, and other protocolsTroubleshoot historian, network, and data mapping issues during site commissioning (FAT, SAT, and Level 4 / 5 IST)Contribute to the improvement of platform standards, project templates, and cybersecurity protocols (ISA / IEC 62443)Coordinate with internal automation teams and external field technicians to maintain seamless tag structure and performanceGenerate punch lists, reporting dashboards, and contribute to project delivery goals on schedule and within scopeSkill Set :
5–8 years of experience delivering full lifecycle SCADA projects from configuration through commissioningBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fieldIgnition 8.1 Gold certification or equivalent experience strongly preferredStrong expertise with Inductive Automation’s Ignition platform, including Vision and Perspective modulesBackground in mission-critical or industrial automation environments (e.g., data centers, pharma, advanced manufacturing)Familiarity with systems integration using common industrial protocols such as OPC UA, Modbus TCP, MQTT, and BACnet / IPStrong scripting abilities with Python, experience with Git, and exposure to ticketing tools (e.g., Jira, DevOps)Knowledge of VLANs, LANs, RSTP, VPNs, and IoT / smart building connectivityStrong organizational and documentation skills, with comfort working in remote and fast-paced project environmentsAbout Blue Signal :
