Registered Nurse (RN) - Neurology

Shifts Available: Days (Rotating Weekends) & Nights (Rotating Weekends)

As a Registered Nurse in the Neurology unit, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in alignment with professional standards and departmental requirements. Working collaboratively with providers and an interdisciplinary team, you will ensure patient safety, education, and positive clinical outcomes while promoting an exceptional patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly reporting any changes in status.
• Perform ordered procedures, monitoring, and documentation of care provided.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor patient response, and act appropriately in the event of adverse reactions.
• Provide compassionate, responsive care by anticipating and addressing patient needs.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care in clear, understandable language.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year recent acute care RN experience (within the last 4 years) required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or RN Diploma required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current RN license in state of practice or active multistate compact license.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
