We believe in rewarding strong performance and growth. This position starts at $19.50 / hour , with the opportunity to earn up to an additional $2.50 / hour within your first 90 days, based on performance evaluations :

• 30-Day Review – Potential increase of up to $.50 / hour
• 60-Day Review – Potential increase of up to $.50 / hour
• 90-Day Review – Potential increase of up to $1.50 / hour

Primary Purpose

Successful candidates are expected to comply with general attendance policies and safety policies and procedures.

Primary Purpose

Can perform a variety of welding functions. the individual should be familiar with and capable

of using various types of welding equipment. Responsible for maintaining quality. Responsible to the JobBoss process and reporting accurate quantities.

Essential Duties

Manually guide electrode or gun along weld line, maintaining length of arc and speed of movement to form specified depth of fusion and bead, as judged from color of metal, sound of weld and size of molten puddle.

Other Duties

Assist other departments as required / directed.  May act as line leader, setting up lines, and checking weld quality of co-workers as required. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

Ability to :

Experience

6 months required in welding

3 year(s) preferred in welding, reading blueprints, and checking weld quality.
