Responsibilities Work in an adult acute care hospital with a Level I trauma designation and 562 staffed beds CT department serving adult outpatient, ICU, and emergency populations Night shift schedule : three 12-hour shifts (6 : 30 PM - 7 : 00 AM), including every 4th weekend On-call and holiday coverage required as needed No floating required outside of the CT Tech role Procedures include abdomen / pelvis (with and without contrast), chest (with and without contrast, vascular protocols), head / neck (carotid, trauma, with and without contrast), coronary CTA, spine, and musculoskeletal trauma studies 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement responsibilities Uses Cerner EMR; Cerner experience is required First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment Must be able to work two out of three major holidays RTO of up to five days (non-holiday) may be auto-approved; greater RTO requires approval Dress code is any solid color scrubs Parking permit provided at no cost after form completion during orientation Previous Memorial perm or PRN employees must have a 12-month break before applying as travelers Modules are completed virtually on the first day and annually thereafter License required if applicable Requirements Minimum of 2 years recent CT experience in acute care, outpatient, ICU, emergency, and trauma settings Current ARRT and ARRT-CT credentials required Active BLS certification required Active Illinois state license required or must be in application process with documented ETA Demonstrated ability in isolation precautions, contrast media preparation / administration, radiation safety, peripheral IV insertion, and venipuncture Documented experience in required CT procedures and post-processing skills SSN and DOB required for consideration Must provide two professional supervisory references from the past two years Must have full seven-year work history with gaps explained Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-615187.
