Refinery Sampler (Entry Level)
Corpus Christi, TX
PSC Group is seeking an Entry Level Refinery Sampler to join our team at a refinery in Corpus Christi, TX. This role is responsible for monitoring the levels of shore tanks and assuring the integrity of product through the regular collection of samples and transporting samples to the lab for analysis. Experience is a plus but not required, and paid on-the-job training is available. This is a full-time position with potential advancement opportunities. Work Schedule : 12 hour rotating shifts. (4 days on, 4 days off)
Pay Range : Starting at $19.50 an hour
Job Duties & Responsibilities :
- Carry all equipment supplies to lab truck, ensuring that all equipment necessary to complete the job is readily available
- Meet with outgoing shift sampler, perform relief and receive instructions from the lead tester in the lab for the remainder of the shift
- Complete all sample tags / labels to prepare for delivery to the lab
- Interface with the customer and lab personnel throughout the facility while delivering supplies, picking up samples, or entering units throughout the shift
- Be knowledgeable of facility units and tank farms for sampling and delivering of supplies
- Communicate with the lead tester to ensure that the samples are collected or delivered in a safe, timely and efficient manner
- Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job.
Job Qualifications :
Experience is a plus but not required, and paid on-the-job training is availableMay require a valid Driver’s License and a valid TWIC card18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.Pass a drug screen, physical, and background checkPrevious military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.Why join the PSC team?
