The company is growing and this position will support the corporate headquarters contracts department in providing essential pricing support for new business. / ppResponsibilities : / pulliAnalyze proposal pricing opportunities / requests as they are identified by the various segments within our operational units. / liliWork with and assist the proposal development team in determining pricing strategies for each opportunity that is selected for bid. / liliDevelop cost / pricing models in MS EXCEL that are in-line with proposed strategies. / liliProduce cost and pricing volume in accordance with RFP requirement using Microsoft Excel and Word templates, supporting schedules and documentation for submission. / liliCreate and maintain electronic folders to warehouse all information and correspondences related to proposal development and submission. / liliParticipate in price negotiations as requested. / liliSupport and maintain established corporate pricing policies and procedures. / liliSalary range : $80,000 - $110,000 / year, DOE. / li / ulpSkills required : / pulliBachelors degree in math, business or related field highly preferred. / lili7+ years experience performing similar duties in a government contracting environment. / liliKnowledge and experience with various pricing methodologies and complex pricing models for various contract types including firm fixed price, time and materials, and cost-plus, as well as working with a diverse range of customers, including commercial, federal agencies and DoD services. / liliExperience in interfacing with various levels of senior management. / liliExcellent analytical skills with attention to detail and computer skills (especially MS Excel). / liliExperience in using pivot tables, VLOOKUP. / liliExcellent oral, written communication and problem-solving skills. / liliExperience with professional services or systems development proposals. / liliExperience with the FAR and understanding of the federal government acquisition process. / liliAbility to build and maintain relationships both internally and externally at all levels. / liliAbility to work independently under a cooperative work-style / team spirit environment and ability to multi task as required. / liliMust be a US citizen. / li / ulpA bachelors degree in business or finance (or other related concentration) is required.
