Job descriptionTravel Nuclear Med Tech position at Carlsbad Medical Center, Community Health Systems. Provides diagnostic aid to physicians by conducting organ or body scans on patients. Administers and records isotope dosages in accordance with established departmental protocol. Observes patients during procedures and reports any abnormal activity. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks under general supervision. Requires a certain degree of creativity and latitude. Typically reports to a chief technologist or manager. 2+ years experience required. Nuclear Medicine Tech certification required. ARRT certification required. New Mexico state licensure required. Shift : Days, 7 : 30 AM - 4 : 00 PM, Monday through Friday. No weekends or call required. Fingerprints required for all New Mexico travelers. No option for 48-hour guarantee. No option for blocked scheduling. Scrub color : Any. EMR system : MedHost (EDIS).
