Coverage Needed : Start Date : December End Date : Ongoing Schedule : 12-hour shifts, 7 : 30 AM - 7 : 30 PM and 7 : 30 PM - 7 : 30 AM Specific Dates : AM (7 : 30 AM - 7 : 30 PM) on 16, 29, 30; PM (7 : 30 PM - 7 : 30 AM) on 23, 26, 27 Clinical Details : Emergency Department with 15 total beds Approximately 22,000 visits per year Average number of ED Patients / Day : 63 Average number of Admissions / Day : 11 Level II Trauma Center EMR : EPIC Support Staff : 1 MD 24 / 7, 1 APP every 12 hours 24 / 7 Hospitalist programs (Med-Peds) 24-hour Radiology and Surgical Services available Ortho available 4 days / week Cardiology on site 2 days / week Critical Care via telemedicine Psychiatry available Requirements : ABEM certified physician Will accept EM physicians and IM / FM physicians with emergency medicine experience Required certifications for IM / FM : ACLS, ATLS, PALS (no exceptions) Active NC license and DEA Board certification at the time of name clear Three completed references worked with in the last year with dates
