Assist with various surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and sterile field integrity. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to deliver high-quality perioperative care. Monitor and respond to patient needs during surgery, including recognizing changes in patient condition. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and surgical procedures. Float to outpatient surgery unit as needed based on operational demands. Uphold infection control standards, safety protocols, and hospital policies at all times. Support post-operative transitions by ensuring proper handoff and continuity of care. Experience Required : Minimum of 2 years perioperative (OR) nursing experience is required. CNOR certification preferred. Qualifications : Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California. Current CPR certification (BLS). Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification. Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment.
