As an Associate Trade Compliance Analyst at Bell, you can expect :
- Research and learn Customs and export procedures and documentation necessary for the compliant operation of the business.
- Classify parts / data for export and Customs.
- Document the classification analysis performed for recordkeeping and audit purposes.
- Attend and observe program meetings to gather facts and set priorities.
- Prepare export license applications.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve processes.
- Assist in trade compliance training across the organization.
- Support internal and external audit-related requirements.
- Review and approve (or deny) export and / or import transactions.
- Review company materials for exportability.
- Approve foreign travel and foreign visitors.
- Conduct risk assessments and assist in audits.
- Perform sanctioned party list screenings.
- Prepare reports and maintain records.
- Continuously improve Bell's trade compliance program by assisting in the development of policies and procedures, automation projects, etc.
- Maintain a positive work environment and actively collaborate with internal and external customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
