Subcontract Administrator - A Buyer For ADP- Skunk Works

You'll join the Global Supply Chain Management Team as a Subcontract Administrator - a Buyer for ADP- Skunk Works. You'll be responsible for the management of supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on complex build-to-print subcontracts for DOD programs. Holds procurement delegation and signs supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority. Lead the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontract systems in support of development, production and global sustainment primes with multiple contract types. Prepare bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, develops evaluation criteria, analyze and evaluate proposals, negotiate subcontract provisions including price; select or recommend subcontractors, write subcontract packages, prepare awards and administer resulting subcontracts and required change activity.

This position is located in Fort Worth, TX. Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
  • Experience as a professional communicator
  • Experience establishing supplier relationships and managing the continuous improvement of supplier performance
  • Ability to obtain US Secret Security Clearance
  • Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures such as FAR / DFAR / LMAP

Desired Skills :

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience / combined education, with 8 years of professional experience; or 6 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree
  • Experience with reading engineering drawings
  • Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures such as AeroCode
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment
  • Commitment to be on-site a minimum of 2 days a week
  • Management or Team Lead experience
  • This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level : Secret

  • Ability to Work Remotely : Part-time Remote Telework : The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
  • Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
  • Schedule for this Position : 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
