SmartTalent is looking to a hire Quality Assurance Technician for multinational logistics in Auburn, WA. Ideal candidate has strong hands-on warehouse experience in the manufacturing industry (details below).

TITLE : Quality Assurance Technician

LOCATION : Auburn, WA

SCHEDULE : Monday – Friday, 7am – 3 : 30pm

PAY : $26

Summary / Objective :

This position supports the company's operations by receiving, processing, delivering, and sampling incoming shipments of products.

Job Duties :

  • Collect, process and label samples of the incoming shipments and transport them to the quality lab.
  • Distribute samples to customers as required.
  • Comply with safety rules and regulations to include determining proper handling procedures of samples.
  • Document sample distribution in the inventory management system.
  • Assist in the training of personnel in quality control and sampling procedures.
  • Adhere to all quality procedures and review process to assure conformity to these procedures and report any deviations to management.
  • Warehouse inventory weekly.
  • Monthly Fire Extinguisher Inspections.
  • Training for contractors.
  • Daily QA and Safety walk through the warehouse
  • Responsible for the Chemical Master List
  • Issues PPE and monitor inventory, order when needed.
  • Inventory, issue and control high security seals.
  • Assists with outside security procedures.
  • Handles incidents and accident reporting.
  • Fogging at various warehouses keeping up records.
  • All samples for products along with sending them to the proper location.
  • Ensure others in the warehouses are following Quality and Safety Procedures.
  • Handles Pest Control bimonthly
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic math, reading, and computer skills
  • Ability to solve problems and apply critical thinking.
  • Strong attention to detail – especially when labeling, distributing, and documenting samples.
  • A minimum of 1 year quality assurance / quality control experience
  • Able to work independently under minimal supervision
  • Physically able to lift up to 30lbs, bend, stoop, and move throughout warehouse environments.
