Job Summary / Description

The News Producer creates, coordinates, and executes newscasts on air and online. This position provides editorial and production direction to editors and field crews regarding content, coordination, and newscast execution.

Duties / Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

Responsibilities

• Writes compelling stories and copy that engage viewers on air and online.
• Develops the day-to-day on-air look of the newscast consistent with the station\'s news mission.
• Posts to the website and social media.
