Vocational Services Employment Specialist IV

The Employment Specialist provides individualized job placement and support services to individuals receiving publicbehavioralhealth services. Based at a local behavioralhealth agency, they work both as part of that agency's team and as part of a statewide initiative to advance employment for individuals with mental illness. They also serve as a liaison to employers, developing business and community relationships in their local area.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Education : Master's Degree in Education and / or Counseling (specialty in rehabilitation and / or career counseling), or a Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• License / Certifications : Current Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and / or DMH Employment Specialist Certification, or obtain certification within six months from hire date required.
• Experience : One year of relevant experience required.
