Job description

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Design and engineer custom control systems for industrial automation
  • Program PLCs, HMIs, CNCs, and troubleshoot ladder logic and legacy systems
  • Lead project scopes from concept through implementation, including upgrades and retrofits
  • Deliver exceptional customer communication, training, and ongoing support
  • Identify and solve control-related issues across a wide range of equipment
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and modern control strategies

Leadership & Support :

  • Provide real-time controls support to technicians in the field
  • Set clear expectations for delivery and outcomes, both internally and externally
  • Mentor and collaborate with team members of various disciplines and experience levels

    • What You Bring

  • 5+ years of Controls Engineering experience in industrial settings
  • 2+ years of leadership experience (process or people)
  • Bachelor's in Electrical / Controls Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Deep knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, Fanuc, RSLogix, Siemens, etc.
  • Proficiency in electrical schematics, panel design, wiring, and troubleshooting
  • Strong communication, analytical thinking, and customer-facing skills
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed

    • Bonus Points For :

  • Hands-on service experience with machines of varying ages and OEMs
  • CAD / CAM or control panel building experience
  • A personal passion for building things, solving problems, and helping others grow
