Job Posting Summary

Baptist Health is actively seeking a Full-Time Radiation Oncology Nurse to join our dynamic and rapidly growing team at Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center (BMDACC) . This is a full-time day shift position with five 8-hour shifts, Monday- Friday.

The primary purpose of the Oncology Nurse position is to positively affect patient outcomes by providing, coordinating, and supporting evidence-based direct patient care across the continuum of care. Working closely with the physician to ensure the highest quality of patient care and the appropriate use of resources is achieved in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will have :

• A minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience (inpatient or clinic) with a passion for oncology care.
• A background in surgical nursing and neurosciences is a plus.
• Work closely with the physician to ensure the highest quality of patient care and the appropriate use of resources is achieved in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Assist with clinic procedures (i.e., scopes and brachytherapy cases).
• Excellent communication and writing skills are a must for this position.
