Job descriptionProvide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in both clinic and hospital settings Participate in a 1 in 3 call rotation, handling consults from the emergency department and performing emergency C-sections as needed Collaborate with certified nurse midwives, who take first call and manage the majority of call volume Perform scheduled OR procedures including colposcopy, IUD placements, and endometrial biopsies (typically one day every other week) Manage deliveries in a facility averaging 40 births per month with a Level I Nursery Work alongside a team of physicians, certified nurse midwives, and full clinic support staff (medical assistants, scribes, LVN) Active California medical license required Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required EMR system : Other Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities
We are seeking a well-rounded Obstetrician / Gynecologist for a 7-day locum tenens assignment in California starting Dec 29, 2025. This opportunity features a blend of clinic work, scheduled OR time, and a 1 in 3 call rotation with day shifts Monday through Friday and weeknight / weekend call.
