West Region Brokerage Leader, Casualty - Construction and Infrastructure

We currently have an exciting career opportunity for the West Region Brokerage Leader position in our West Region. This is a great opportunity to join the Construction & Infrastructure team to manage and broker / consult on behalf of a diversified client base with insurance underwriters in the Casualty insurance discipline.

This is a hybrid role that requires working onsite at least 3 days a week from a local Aon office in Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco or Seattle.

What the day will look like

The Broker Leader is responsible for assessing client needs, designing solutions and negotiating with insurance carriers to obtain coverage that is in a client's best interests.

• Professional who develops and manages client relationships, account strategies and insurance marketing activities.
• Act as a trusted advisor to the client, in broking, designing, selling and servicing complex accounts
• Provide outstanding and timely service and support to clients, relationship managers and originator
• Identify and analyze client exposures and ensure policy coverage addresses all such exposures
• Facilitate the compilation of submission information in conjunction with clients, relationship managers, originators and service center support
• Finalize market submission and product design options to clients, relationship managers, and originators
• Review and analyze quotes and binders to ensure appropriate coverage
• Detailed knowledge of the existing and prospected business within the segment
• Insurance Carrier relations specific to the segment
• Bespoke Broking and account reviews
• Detailed knowledge of the market dynamics within the segment
• Retain and grow assigned clients / prospects
• Adhere to the highest standards of professionalism and ethical behavior in all activities and able to work well in a team environment
• Management responsibilities, including leading and developing a team through coaching, training, and regular performance feedback, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive business objectives, and overseeing daily operations to ensure achievement of department goals.
• Travel as required for client, prospect and industry events

Pay Transparency Laws :

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $160,100 to $270,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
