Job description

The Company

I am currently recruiting for an organization delivering cutting edge autonomous technology in both self driving cars and delivery robots.

The organization have already forged significant partnerships with major companies that wish to utilize their technology and help shape the future for Autonomous systems in an everyday environment.

About the Role

They’re looking for an experienced software engineer who is passionate about building robust, high-performance platforms for robotics and autonomous technologies. A core focus of the role is on the execution pipeline—a custom framework that orchestrates how autopilot modules run and interact. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of the platform’s design and development, working closely with other engineering teams to understand their needs and deliver scalable, maintainable solutions.

With an emphasis on performance, safety, and reliability, this role also plays a key part in defining best practices and improving the overall quality of the system.

Responsibilities

  • Work across engineering teams to gather requirements and design core infrastructure for executing autopilot systems.
  • Write highly efficient and reliable C++ code, optimized for safety and performance.
  • Ensure reproducibility of algorithm outputs by building infrastructure to run code deterministically on recorded data.
  • Create tools that help engineers quickly identify and debug issues in their code.
  • Automate tests and validations to ensure code quality and performance with every change.
  • Produce clean, maintainable code and clear, well-organized documentation.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience with modern C++ and a deep understanding of system-level performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and build complex software systems from the ground up.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a pragmatic approach to engineering challenges.
  • A commitment to building reliable, scalable, and maintainable infrastructure.
