WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a local contract nursing job in Vineland, New Jersey.

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a  Labor  and  Delivery Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Vineland, NJ.

Job Function : \n

  • Night Shift.

    • \n

  • 6 : 45pm to 7 : 15am

    • \n

  • Categorizes patients in the appropriate  level  of classification.

    • \n

  • Applies external  fetal  monitor and  interprets fetal  heart tracing and  uterine activity.

    • \n

  • Implements intervention appropriately based  on fetal  heart rate pattern and  maternal  status  during  labor.

    • \n

  • Identifies emergency situations, observes age and  notifies provider accordingly.

    • \n

  • Screens patients for pain  during the initial  assessment and  reassess according to guidelines.

    • \n

  • Assists the physicians / midwife  during a  delivery

    • \n \n

    Job Requirements : \n

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).

    • \n

  • Current RN license for the state that you are working in (or willingness to obtain).

    • \n

  • 2 years of acute care experience in this specialty.

    • \n

  • BLS, ACLS and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association.

    • \n

  • Fetal Monitoring Certificate Preferred.
