Responsibilities Resource Pool RN role in a hospital setting Float to all PCU and Medical-Surgical units as needed Shift is 3x12 hour nights from 6 : 45 PM to 7 : 15 AM, with 4x12 option by request PCU patient ratio is 5 : 1, Med-Surg ratio is 6-7 : 1 Staffing needs may require floating to different PCU or MS units every 4 hours May occasionally float to Inpatient Rehab in an affiliated hospital Epic EMR experience required Must be flexible and comfortable floating frequently between PCU and MS units Travelers may be required to float to inpatient rehab if needed Travelers must work at least one holiday per 13-week assignment and two holidays during the winter holiday block No Christmas holiday time off will be approved Candidates must live more than 100 miles from the facility to be considered for travel assignments Local travelers within 50-99.9 miles can be considered for a single 13-week assignment with no extension eligibility, while those under 50 miles may be considered at a lower local rate Former employees must be separated for at least one year before returning as a traveler Facility policy limits total assignment duration to 365 days, after which travelers are not eligible to return, with some exceptions pending leadership review Orientation includes modules and Epic training, which may be completed pre-start or during orientation Requirements Active VA or compact RN license Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required Experience with all PCU and med-surg units is required Epic charting experience required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-640650.
