Data Center & Cloud Architect

Position Overview

The Data Center & Cloud Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-scale infrastructure solutions across both on-premises and cloud platforms. This role combines strategic architecture with hands-on engineering, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable systems that support business and manufacturing operations. The position also involves servant leadership, guiding technical teams through complex challenges while driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and collaboration across IT teams.
• Architect, deploy, and maintain hybrid cloud solutions integrating on-premises and Azure / AWS / GCP platforms.
• Act as lead engineer for installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of infrastructure.
• Implement and enforce infrastructure security protocols, including IAM, segmentation, and compliance controls.
• Monitor and optimize resources to ensure performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Design and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
• Lead cross-functional projects from planning to implementation, ensuring timely delivery.
• Maintain documentation of architecture, configurations, and operational processes.
