ICU RN Job Details Job Title : ICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Contract Location : Weston, WV 26452 (West Virginia nursing jobs) Employment Type : Travel Nursing Contract Contract Length : 13 weeks Start Date : November 24, 2025 End Date : February 23, 2026 Shift : Day shifts, 12 hours (07 : 00 - 19 : 00) Schedule : 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts per week (36 guaranteed hours / week) Weekend Requirement : Every weekend or every other weekend Orientation : 16 hours (plus modules) Patient Ratio : 3 : 1 (one ICU, two step-down patients) Unit Size : 6 beds Estimated Weekly Salary : $1680-$1730 ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent ICU RN experience in a hospital setting Active West Virginia or Compact RN license (pending licenses not accepted) BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association) NIHSS certification 2 recent manager or charge nurse references required Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility (75-100 miles considered case-by-case) Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only) COVID-19 vaccine not required Experience with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations Ability to float within scope as needed Strong independence, flexibility, and dependability ICU RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality, compassionate care to ICU and step-down patients Monitor and manage patients with critical diagnoses : COPD, CHF, overdose, DKA, respiratory failure, sepsis, COVID-19, and influenza Perform and assist with bedside procedures : central line / art line placement, intubation, chest tube placement Operate specialized equipment : Blakemore, temporary pacers, Hamilton ventilators Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, respiratory, phlebotomy, rapid response, pharmacy, transportation, unit secretary) Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital policies Float to other nursing units within scope as needed Apply now to join our healthcare team in Weston, West Virginia and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
