Journeyman Pipefitter

We are seeking a Journeyman Pipefitter with rigging qualifications who can expertly rig and hang schedule 40 carbon steel at elevations between 15' to 40', with pipe sizes ranging from 4" to 20". The role involves laying out pipe routings for hanger installation and rigging and installing equipment such as chillers, pumps, and air handling units using appropriate mechanical equipment and cranes. Candidates must be able to safely and effectively use power equipment and tools required in the piping trades. A 6-G welding certification is a plus.

Responsibilities :

• Rig and hang schedule 40 carbon steel piping at high elevations.
• Lay out pipe routings for hanger installation.
• Rig and install equipment including chillers, pumps, and air handling units.
• Utilize mechanical equipment and cranes for equipment installation.
• Safely operate power equipment and tools required by the piping trades.

Work Environment :

This is a Contract position based out of Dallas, TX.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
