The Sr. Analyst Compensation plays a critical role in supporting the organization's compensation strategy by partnering closely with HR partners to address day-to-day operational challenges. This role is responsible for providing consultative guidance, developing practical solutions, and driving consistency in compensation practices across the company. Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Serve as a primary point of contact for HR partners, offering expert guidance on compensation-related operational issues.
- Provide thoughtful, data-informed recommendations and present multiple options to help HR partners address business needs effectively.
- Translate complex compensation concepts into clear, actionable guidance tailored to HR and business leaders.
- Promote consistent application of compensation policies, practices, and tools across the company.
- Identify and resolve misalignments in job architecture, career leveling, and pay practices, ensuring operational integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance compensation workflows and improve data accuracy.
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with HR partners and key stakeholders, including actively listening to partner needs and tailoring solutions to address unique business challenges.
- Strengthen collaboration across HR teams by facilitating knowledge sharing and promoting best practices.
- Analyze internal and external compensation data to support informed decision-making.
- Support continuous improvement efforts in compensation operations and systems, and assist in developing and delivering training and resources for HR partners.
- Contribute to compensation-related projects such as incentive plans, annual compensation planning, market reviews, and data audits.
Minimum Requirements :
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required.Minimum 5 years of experience in compensation required.Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and HRIS / reporting tools.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.Experience working in a matrixed organization and driving alignment across diverse teams.Knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations relating to HR and compensation.Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred.Maximus is an equal opportunity employer. Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.
Minimum Salary : $90,780.00
Maximum Salary : $130,000.00
