  • Mailbox Operations Specialist

Position Overview :

  • The Mailbox Operations Specialist will manage highvolume mailbox operations for Incumbent Local Exchange Carrier (ILEC) meet-points and XML gateway requests across 21 states.
  • Key Responsibilities :

    The Mailbox Operations Specialist will :

  • Manage the ILEC MeetPoint Mailbox, processing approximately 400 requests per month for circuit information between Common Language Location Identification (CLLI) codes,
  • Respond to customer requests for meetpoint information, perform redesigns, and help establish new meet-points,
  • Operate the Extensible Markup Language (XML) mailbox to process requests for establishing or updating Local Service Request (LSR) XML Gateway connectivity,
  • Create Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) test and Production APPL IDs to facilitate customer order submissions, and
  • Coordinate and facilitate calls among Client’s test managers, IT, and customers for platform testing, troubleshooting, and migrations.
  • Required Skills : General Abilities :

  • Bachelor’s degree (strongly preferred) or five to eight (5 to 8) years of experience in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in telecom operations, customer service, and / or technical support roles
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • General Technical Skills

  • Understanding of circuit provisioning, CLLI codes, and mailbox operations
  • Preferred Skills :

  • Familiarity with LSRs, XML gateway interfaces, and wholesale telecom processes
  • Technical troubleshooting and customer communication skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize highvolume requests in a fast-paced environment
  • Pay Range : $50-55 / hr

    The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
