Job descriptionAssist physicians during patient examinations and treatments Prepare, clean, and restock treatment rooms and equipment Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for their visit Record patient history and update medical records accurately Measure and document vitals Perform routine tests, EKGs, blood draws, and specimen collection Administer medications and vaccinations as directed (excluding controlled substances) Remove sutures / staples and change dressings per provider request Report any adverse reactions or patient concerns CMA certification from AAMA or AMT Strong knowledge of safe medication administration and the 5 Rights Accurate documentation skills and familiarity with HIPAA Ability to draw blood and give injections Excellent patient interaction and bedside manner Strong attention to detail and ability to follow physician instructions Familiarity with medical terminology and charting systems

Job Summary :
Under physician direction, the CMA supports patient care delivery. Responsibilities include clinical documentation, administering medications, performing injections, taking vitals, and assisting in exams and procedures.
Requirements :
- Valid Driver License (must be submitted with onboarding packet)
- BLS
- CMA certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Epic experience preferred
