As an Aircraft Mechanic with a focus on the Component Shop, you will bring your skills and experience to be a part of a dynamic Maintenance team.

SHIFT

1st Shift, 5 Day Work Week – Monday through Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM

Position Summary

The Aircraft Mechanic – Component Shop is responsible for the disassembly, inspection, repair, overhaul, and reassembly of aircraft components in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer’s manuals, and company procedures. This role ensures components are serviced to the highest safety and quality standards to support the operational readiness of the fleet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform inspection, repair, and overhaul of aircraft components, including but not limited to hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and structural assemblies.
  • Accurately follow technical data, drawings, and manufacturer maintenance manuals.
  • Ensure all work performed complies with FAA, OEM, and company quality standards.
  • Document all work performed in maintenance tracking systems and component work cards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
  • Assist with troubleshooting component failures and provide technical feedback to maintenance teams.
  • Collaborate with Quality Control and Engineering to resolve technical issues.
  • Support inventory control by properly handling, tagging, and storing parts and tooling.
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay current with procedures, technical data, and regulatory requirements.
  • Qualifications

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of aircraft maintenance or component shop experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, materials, and repair processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, engineering drawings, and schematics.
  • Proficiency with precision measurement tools and standard shop equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail, safety focus, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment 5 panel drug screen and background checks
  • Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and working with hands.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
