We have an immediate opportunity available for a mid‑level litigation associate in our Chicago office. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of litigation experience representing financial institutions, with a strong preference for those who have represented consumer mortgage loan servicers. Experience defending consumer claims (TILA, FCRA, RESPA, ICFA, etc.), prosecuting foreclosures, and / or handling commercial loan workouts is a plus. A license to practice in Illinois and familiarity with the Illinois state and federal court system is required.

All candidates should have a strong academic background and possess excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Represent financial institutions in litigation matters.
• Defend consumer claims such as TILA, FCRA, RESPA, ICFA.
• Prosecute foreclosures.
• Handle commercial loan workouts.
• Maintain Illinois bar license and knowledge of state and federal court system.
• Demonstrate strong academic background, research, writing, analytical and communication skills.

Compensation

Competitive salary, benefits, and up to $40,000+ in bonus potential.
