Position Summary :

The Business Development Advisor M&A will report to the Director Business - M&A and be based out of MPCs Findlay Ohio campus. The Advisor role is responsible for leading all phases of the deal life cycle from deal origination and opportunity analysis through post-close integration. Working closely with Corporate Strategy Portfolio Strategy and other key business partners the M&A advisor identifies and executes opportunities to accelerate existing strategies through inorganic growth.

Key Responsibilities :

• Process Lead

Leads all phases of the deal life cycle

Leads proactive screening efforts to identify top acquisition targets to advance MPC / MPLX strategies

Conducts post-deal lessons learned reviews to identify work process improvement opportunities

Minimum Requirements :

Business Engineering or Law preferred

Experience with M&A and commercial contract development strongly preferred
