Paramedic

Pay starting at $77,096 / yr up to $93,856 / yr (depending on experience) working a full-time rotating schedule

Paramedics can make between $105,248-$128,128 / year (depending on experience) by working 72 hours / week

No Cap on Overtime

Schedule Types Available : 48 ON / 96 OFF or 24 ON / 48 OFF or Kelly schedule. Schedules vary by location and are subject to change.

City Ambulance Service is rapidly expanding our operation, we have multiple station locations in Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio, Austin, College Station, Odessa, Midland, San Angelo, Lubbock, Temple, Killeen, Round Rock, Beaumont, Port Arthur, Lufkin, Nacogdoches, Livingston, Corpus Christi, etc. We are currently looking to expand our team of Paramedics here in East Texas and Surrounding areas. We are currently seeking experienced, dedicated and motivated Paramedics to join our team. We are looking for team members that can provide the advanced level of patient care that our patients and partners have come to expect from City Ambulance Service.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Respond to calls for emergency and non-emergency transports.
• Assess a patient’s condition and determine a course of treatment per local protocol.
• Provide first-aid treatment and / or advanced level life support to patients.
• Clearly explain procedures to patients, give orders, and relay information to others.
• Transport patients safely in an ambulance.
• Transfer patients to the hospital or other healthcare facilities.
• Report their observations and treatment to physicians, or other healthcare facility staff.
• Document medical care given to patients in a prompt and effective manner.
• Inventory, replace, and clean supplies and equipment after use.
• Maintain and clean crew quarters, ambulance and station locations daily.
