Description :

Level III Trauma Center.

99 beds.

Covid vaccine required.

Experience with patient types ranging from neonates to geriatrics.

Patient ratios : Day shift 1 : 3-4, Night shift 1 : 5.

De-escalation certification is not required.

Support on the unit includes : 1 CNA for every 17 patients.

Charge nurse takes patient assignment on night shift.

Phlebotomy / RN draws blood.

Resource Nurse available.

Respiratory Therapy on-site 24 / 7.

Hospitalist available 24 / 7.

Bedside and nurse station telemonitoring.

Paramedics work in the ED if not on a call.

Charting system and equipment includes EPIC, Alaris IV Pump, and Pyxis.

No floating required.

Weekend rotation required every other week.

No on-call shifts.

Holiday expectations apply.

Scrub color : Any color.

Tight-knit team atmosphere.

Emergency Department has its own ambulance service.
