Engineering Manager (Aerospace)

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Must be able to work from Mon–Fri from 7 : 00 am - 4 : 00 pm
• Bachelor’s degree (BS / BA) in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• Minimum of twelve (12) years of product design experience ; minimum eight (8) years of engineering project management experience and six (6) years of engineering management experience supervising technical professionals; and
• Experience leading engineering teams responsible for designing engineered products for customers.
• Demonstrated experience resolving technical problems associated with company products, managing multiple technical projects, and working with customer personnel in defining design parameters.
• Experience working with metallic materials, metal fabrication processes, and metallic material finishing.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

JOB DETAILS :

The Engineering Manager organizes, plans, controls, and leads a skilled team of design / project engineers and designers engaged in the design and development of new and / or modified company products in accordance with customer specifications, established company engineering policies, and government / industry standards. The manager is responsible for the technical aspects of new and legacy products within an assigned segment of business operations. The manager is also responsible for supporting Sales and Marketing efforts, resolving technical problems, and providing technical support to Operations.
