Level II Trauma Center | High-Acuity Emergency Department | Flexible Scheduling

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking experienced Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) to join a high-volume, fast-paced Emergency Department in Lima, Ohio .

This opportunity offers exposure to a Level II Trauma Center , a collaborative physician / APP practice model, and the chance to deliver high-impact care in a respected regional hospital.

Location : Lima, Ohio

Start Date : ASAP – Ongoing

Contract Type : Locum Tenens (1099)

Annual Volume : 53,792 ED visits

EMR : Epic

Scheduling : 12-hour shifts | Full-time or part-time availability accepted

Shift Details

Physician Coverage : 53 hours / day

APP Coverage : 48 hours / day

Typical APP Shifts :

6 : 00 AM – 6 : 00 PM

9 : 00 AM – 9 : 00 PM

6 : 00 PM – 6 : 00 AM (Monday–Friday)

Candidate Requirements

Degree : Master’s in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies

Licensure : Active Ohio license (required)

Certifications : ACLS, ATLS, and PALS (required)

Experience : Minimum 2 years of emergency or urgent care experience preferred

Board Certification : NCCPA (PA) or ANCC / AANP (NP)

DEA : Active & unrestricted

Skills : Proficiency in high-acuity patient management, suturing, splinting, and basic procedural skills
