Virginia Licensed Fire Protection Engineer

A company is looking for a Fire Protection Engineer (Remote Eligible).

Key Responsibilities :

Review plans for compliance with building codes and provide written comments for resolution

Conduct interdisciplinary inspections during construction to verify adherence to codes and standards

Evaluate alternative designs and review shop drawings for compliance with relevant regulations

Required Qualifications :

An ABET accredited Bachelor of Engineering Degree

Virginia-Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain licensure within one year

Certification as Fire Protection Inspector & Fire Protection Plans Examiner or Certified Fire Official (CFO) required within one year

Proficiency in computer-based applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam Revu

Valid motor vehicle operator's license meeting company requirements
