American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for night shifts at a critical access facility, requiring a WA or compact RN license and a minimum of 1 year of ER experience.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Position is in the Emergency Department of a critical access hospitalNurse-to-patient ratio is 1 : 5Night shifts, 3x12 hours, 19 : 00–07 : 00Every other weekend scheduling is requiredNo floating between units within the same facility, but floating to sister facilities in the state may be requiredNo on-call requiredEpic EMR is used and experience with Epic is requiredAll RN / allied staff may wear any color scrubsCare for emergency and trauma patients in a fast-paced critical access hospital environmentPeriodic completion of pre-start and annual online modules is requiredTeamwork oriented, supportive environment with a small interdisciplinary teamAll requested time off must be submitted up front; limited RTO is permitted and post-submission requests are typically not consideredFloating to other nearby facilities in the state may be requiredFree parking is availableDress code allows for any color scrubs\n \n Requirements\n
Active WA or compact RN license required at time of considerationMinimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department RN experience requiredCertifications required : BLS, ACLS, TNCC, NRP, and PALS are preferredMinimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty / settingMust not be a first-time travelerReturn employees must have not worked as a perm staff for at least 3 months prior to applying as a travelerMust reside more than 50 miles from the facility for full travel benefits; locals accepted at a lower rate\n Benefits\n
