Job Summary

As a Production Specialist at A Wrap and Sign Shop, you will play a crucial role in supporting our company's core values : brand and reputation, customer service, we culture, product excellence, and a friendly atmosphere. The production specialist will be responsible for various aspects of sign and wrap production process, including material preparation, laminating, cutting, and installation. By ensuring the final product exceeds your expectations and showcases high-quality craft, your presence will enforce the Always A Good Signs reputation and exceptional customer service we are widely known to deliver.

Key Responsibilities

• Material Preparation. Prepare and organize materials required for signage and wrap production processes, including labeling vinyl sheets, laminates, adhesives, and other necessary supplies.
• Laminating. Apply laminates to printed vinyl to enhance durability, protect against UV rays, and provide a glossy or matte finish.
• Cutting and Trimming. Use cutting plotters or digital cutters to precisely cut out printed graphics and designs according to specifications. Remove excess vinyl and trim materials as needed to create clean edges and accurate shapes.
• Quality Control. Inspect printed materials and cut graphics for imperfections, inconsistencies, or defects. Verify that colors, dimensions, and design elements match client requirements and approved proofs.
• Installation . Assist in the installation of vehicle wraps, wall graphics, window graphics, post and panel signs, facility branding and all type of signage. Ensuring that vinyl and laminates are applied accurately, smoothly, and without air bubbles or wrinkles. Trim and finish vinyl neatly and professionally, adhering to best practices for long-lasting results.
• Shop. Maintenance and Vehicle Intake Care : Perform routine cleaning of workspace and shop to ensure optimal performance for team. Cleaning vehicles as they come into shop for wrapping with degreasers and or isopropyl alcohol to ensure surfaces are prepped for the vehicle wrap installation team.

Qualifications and Skills

• 3+ years sign shop or wrap shop experience with production, signage and installation.
• Troubleshoot problems as they arise
• Extensive knowledge of vinyls, substrates and installation techniques
• Looking for career-minded individual that just isnt a team player, but one that will grow with our family
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to handle heavy materials, equipment, and perform installation tasks.
• Able to lift 50 or more pounds

This position involves working closely with clients, designers, and team members to ensure the accurate and high-quality execution of signage and wrap projects. The role does require standing for extended periods and performing physically demanding tasks with extensive use of hand tools such as : scissors, knives, squeegees and rulers.
