Medical Collection Representative

A company is looking for Medical Collection Representatives for a remote temporary position.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage Third-Party AR by analyzing denied and unresponded claims

Make outbound calls to insurance carriers to appeal and check claims status

Process insurance / patient refunds and adjustments while maintaining compliance with HIPAA standards

Required Qualifications :

1+ year of experience in healthcare accounts receivable / follow up

1+ year of experience working with multiple payors, including Medicare and commercial insurance providers

1+ year of experience in billing or collections within a hospital / facility setting

Experience with Microsoft Office applications

High School Diploma / GED
