Overview :
Our client, a leader in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Machinist. This role is critical for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machining operations for large parts. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with strong technical expertise, committed to quality, safety, and collaborative teamwork in a dynamic production environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Set up large parts for machining to maximize machine utilization and efficiency.
- Perform rigorous quality control checks on weldments and machined parts.
- Operate and monitor CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Make necessary offset wear changes and zero-point shifts during operations.
- Document processes and maintain accurate production records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company standards.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a production team.
Requirements : Education
A technical education or certification in machining or manufacturing is a strong plus.Experiences
Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience as a machinist operating relevant CNC machines.Other
Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex CNC programs, including G and M codes.Ability to read and interpret advanced blueprints and technical drawings.Skilled in using precision measurement tools such as gauges and micrometers.Strong attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to quality standards.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.Compensation and Benefits :
Salary
$55,000 - $65,000 per year (based on experience).Benefits
