Overview
ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an opening for a Sous Chef for ASM Global / SAVOR. This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including inventory management.
Responsibilities
- Training of all Kitchen Cooks and Dishwasher / Stewards.
- Fulfilling services detailed per each Banquet Event Orders (BEO) and Concessions Event Order (CEO).
- Order and receive product and prepare food items while maintaining control of food costs and budget goals.
- Manage inventory / cage.
- Assist in maintaining all equipment cleanliness and conducting annual maintenance.
- Attend in-house event-related meetings and relay immediate changes with other departments.
- Assist with monthly inventory.
- Exhibit attention to detail and consistency in every aspect of service.
- Coordinate with the Concessions Workers, Bartenders, Cashiers and Runners to maintain adequate inventory levels for proper and uninterrupted concessions / bar service.
- Abide by and maintain established accurate inventory control procedures at all times.
- Train kitchen and stewarding staff to include ServSafe and any health department regulations.
- Track expenditures and provide regular financial reports to senior management.
- Plan and coordinate logistics for the timely delivery and distribution of goods to various departments and event areas.
- Interact with customers, clients and co-workers in a pleasant and professional manner.
- Follow all rules and regulations which apply to the ASM Global Food and Beverage Division and the Savor Safe Alcohol Management Program.
- Maintain safe, secure, and sanitary working conditions and leave the work area in a clean and orderly fashion.
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of products, supplies, and equipment.
- Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand and ensure adequate stock levels for events.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and / or Experience
4 years related experience and / or trainingPrevious management experience in a similar venue preferredHigh School Graduate or EquivalentCertificates, Licenses, Registrations

The annual salary range is $68,640 - $75,000 dependent on experience.
