2nd Shift Shipping Crewleader

Crewleader Position

Crewleaders provide frontline management to value added processes within the distribution center. This position is responsible for contributing to the motivation and success of each associate in the assigned area and set the standard of excellence. Work in conjunction with the associates in the assigned area. Work closely with the supervisor to establish and achieve priorities. Enforce company standards and policies. Assume temporary responsibility of the area in the absence of the supervisor as needed. Make minor management decisions in order to complete required tasks; move labor as needed to adjust workloads in the area. Monitor the flow of work via personnel observation and system reports. Report progress or delays to the supervisor periodically. Perform other duties as requested.

Minimum Job Experience Required :

• 6 months - 1 year of related work experience
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to interpret procedures and make corrective adjustments in technical process operations. Ability to identify, eliminate or reduce process constraints.
• Ability to obtain a walkie and forklift PIT license
